This statement-sized specimen of Parti-color Tourmaline is filled with saturated color and beauty. At the base, crystal clear teal glows with watery color reminiscent of spring rain and slightly chilled breezes. The upper half of the stone is a changeable pale lavender pink that shifts more pink to more purple depending on the light. With a more opaque quality that is slightly dusty, this upper half houses sporadic hollow tube-like needles that catch the light and glow with a chatoyant iridescence. When the light hits just right, these needle inclusions absolutely glow and shimmer.
Set in 14k gold in an open-back bezel to let the light through and show the equally glowing back of the stone (see last photo for reverse side of the pendant). A talismanic necklace to celebrate the thaw of Winter as it transitions into Spring.
